Progression of Evony's add campaign. I won't play it out of principal. If you're gonna use scantily clad chicks in adds, make sure they are in game imo. Also, Civilization still pwns any land conquering game.

yep, both of us are in Carinthia. woudl recommend looking into either WarCry or Warpath alliances if you're in that area. I'm really liking this game. It's basically a medieval Eve Online, without the subscription costs.

Yeah, it's a lot like EVE.

I'm only 12 hours in or so. But up to 4k. I'll use one of my "move" items to get to your area when I'm built up a bit more. 'Bout to go and try to take an land plot with 11% iron production nearby so I built up my barrack and research a little early.

Any advice on easy general bloobie mistakes would be appreciated =p

lumber is by far the most important/in demand resource. Consequently, usually is sells for the most as well. Also, you get some free medals for starting out..don't be a bloobie like me and decide to see what happens when you give them as rewards to yoru heroes...save them.

Yeah, I saved the medals. Just used some to finish my last promotion and have enough for Major, I just need the gold now.

I did blow a lot of stuff from my Newbie/Lord packages, but saved the %+ stuff for resources/population for when I can get more benefit from them. I also blew the coins they sent me on the Wheel of Fortune, wasn't paying attention =p

Fun game though.

oh the coins are meant to be blown, you'll get one every day too from here on out, so roll away. Yea, I'm really enjoying it, I've decided it's a cross between Eve and Heroes of Might and Magic III, with a dash of cuthroat no bleubies allowed old school UO thrown in. (and it is is cutthroat once your 7 day immunity is up).

p.s. just reminded me, do no build your level 5 town center until you are ready to be attacked, because that will end your 7 day beginner immunity.
