SO far, Sony has announced a wii-like motion sensing controller which actually looks pretty badass, WAY more responsive than Wii. Part of the demonstration showed the guy reaching behind his back to pull an arrow out and firing it using the controller and the new Eye Toy camera. Ridiculous.
Rockstar's PS3 exclusive was announced, but not shown...called Agent it is set in the 1970s and deals with spies and assassins.
Square announced that while FF13 will be hitting both 3shitty and PS3 in 2010, Final Fantasy 14 will be a PS3 exclusive and also released 2010. HOWEVER, it looks like this may be an MMO and a sequel to FFXI... :-\ We'll see about that.
There was also no PvP in FF11 and likely to not be any in FF14. I don't personally see the point in playing an MMO if there is zero option for PvP.

I have both and have to say PS3 is better. I also had the Wii and sold it after 5 months.... I was a big fan of the 360. I bought it when it came out and thought I would never buy a PS3...til I owned a PS3.it was the shit. Till I bought a PS3. The only reason I started playing the sony was because of the red ring of death mine came up with. I did end up fixing it myself when the fix came out on line but I hardly ever play the thing anymore.
OMG FFXIV looks like the SHIT...I agree about PvP tho so hopefully there will be open pvpness. Otherwise, meh.

I only said that it looks to be a lot more well done. Wii's motion is nowhere NEAR 1:1 reaction, like in tennis, it senses when you swing and your guy swings, thats about it. The PS3 one has complete 3D sensors by using the new Eye Toy camera instead of that chintzy thin piece of plastic that Wii has. It can sense exactly where you are in relation to the camera and exactly where you are holding the motion controllers. For example, the video showed a guy walking around in front of the camera, and on-screen, the guy walked around the room. HOWEVER, as cool as I think this is, I still don't want to have to fuckign run around my house and flail my arms to play a game when I can grab a controller and sit on the couch. So lick my grundle chodington.
i remember this one time microsoft release old technology that didnt work. i also remembering them failing to fix it for years. and then i also remember microsoft releasing the "new microsoft experience" update...which wasn't new at all because the fucking thing crashed systems just like the "old microsoft experience."

Sony is gay. those fucking assholes keep releasing updates that work. and they keep innovating new technology and/or improving on current technology and making not suck or suck less. i totally see where you are coming from. if i owned an awesome 360 that crashed all the time, id probably come to think that was normal and hate on everything that didnt follow accordingly.

Maybe I should start seeing Arie's point however...Having a system that never locks up or stops working all together really does fuckign suck. I mean...who wants to play games for more than a week or 2 before they have to send theyr console in to get fixed for 6 months, anyway. I guess I really am missing out on all that waiting fun. Also, inferior racing games like this are just ruining the market tbh.

i do, however, have to agree with the fuck consoles thing. consoles are ruining PC gaming. granted a lot of that is Microsoft's fault...but really, what isn't their fault? i liked it better when consoles were made for racing, rpgs, and party games. now they are stealing mmos and that is blasphemy!
