I thought they were going in a cool direction when it looked like they were going to form 2 different Super Teams on opposite sides of the battle. Then they didn't really do much with that.
The show needs something other than "Saving the World" as a main plotline. _______ DAMN YOU MY PEW PEW IS GONE!!
i think this is the beginning of the show getting really good. why is HRG working with Nathan and his squad of douchingtons?
"Saving the World" is taking a backseat now. the direction is more of a "save ourselves." my hope and prediction is that Sylar and the other fugitives join forces and tear some ass apart!
I think my biggest issue is Nathan being so wishy Washy...if you're going to make him bad, now fucking keep him bad. and same deal with HRG...every show he's some double secret agent for someone and frankly it's getting boring. Sylar needs to save the show, and pretty much kill everyone.
It's just bad TV imo. Sylar is really the only reason to watch any more it seems. I do like Ando and Hiro though. But the guy who plays Peter may come off as the single biggest douchebag in the history of television. Every time he tries to do his Clint Eastwood tough-guy impression I want to punch the TV. And he's the protaganist?
If Arie's prediction is right, it might be worth watching. But enough of the soap opera'esque character building bullshit already. Ugh.
The ending to heroes. From the time peter accidentally froze the wall of the plane and the music started I thought was a nice reflective montage.
I used to be like some were it's like a guessing game to see if i can guess the outcome of the movie/series/plot or would like this to be more black and white but dunno, that gets old quick and ruined the experience for me personally. It's funner to mix up the pieces and see what the new puzzle will make. I just kind of watch and am entertained, I guess it's a voluntary mental regression in a way.
PS: I think in the next episode they land on an island with a manhole, some weird animal and numbers all over the place.
Dunno was thinking about that too. When did he fly though since his dad tapped his shit away though? His bro claimed to see him but peter never acknowledged it, he could of been fishing for answers to gauge peter's threat but then again it could just be i dont remember when he flew in front of him at some point.
Seems like his power got reset since he lost it to his pop but he still has his basic/primary power... even still it's changed because he could simply absorb it originally by being in the presence of someone else where as now he has to actually physically touch them like he did mohinder and the blonde chick.
Sylar is definitely the only reason why it's worth watching ATM. I mean if you piss off the guy not only will he kill you, but he'll have fun scalping you while doing it. The 1st episode of the season is suppose to get you hooked for the entire season. I definitely didn't get that feeling.
So, Peter obviously got reset on his powers. Only in addition to that I think there is a new catch to them.
He took Mohinders strength to bust out of the restraints and started beating the shit out of the bad guys. Then during the fight he came in contact with Ice Nikki and absorbed her powers. Immediately he started getting his shit kicked in and seemed surprised by it.
My thought is that now he can only hold one power at a time and any time he absorbs a new power he loses the one he currently had. If this is true then at the end of the episode he wouldn't of had the ability to fly.
Also, they make a big deal out of Mohinder and him gripping each others hands at the end which I think is them foreshadowing how Peter will survive the plane crash while out of his seat. In fact the only people not buckled in are the random ass bad guys, Claire who obviously will survive it, Peter and Mohinder who I think will survive it barely due to Mohinders strength.
With all of that said I tend to agree with Broncas when it comes to movies/tv. I like to sit back and trust the director/writers to take me where they want to. Even if it's not the "intellectual approach" it tends to bring me more enjoyment. _______ DAMN YOU MY PEW PEW IS GONE!!
well you're watching it the wrong way...you should inspect every minutia to extrapolate the end game plot six seasons from now. I learned this from Von Poopsly.

when blue flamey hands guy and Peter were trashing the lab at Pinehurst, blue flamey hands guy set the shit on fire and Peter injected himself, absorbed Nathan's power, and flew them out.
yea i thought i remembered him flying, in which case either the theory of him only being able to keep one power is correct, or they completely dropped the ball on him being afraid of falling out a plane.

I'd go with the one power at a time theory, whoever said that one sounds really smart. _______ DAMN YOU MY PEW PEW IS GONE!!
